Lagunitas IPNA, here we go! In the aroma, there is a present smell of hops, along with a hint of grapefruit, and a touch pine. It pours a beautiful golden amber color, with a light head that fades away quickly. In the mouth, it has a light to medium bodied character, along with a medium amount of carbonation. The flavor is pretty dank, and comes across with a present taste of hops. There's a light citrusy character, a touch of wheat, and a slight herbal character. It's an interesting flavor profile. It isnt' overly bitter, and is lower in that department. It finishes smooth, semi-watery, and with a light body. The ABV is said to be less than 0.5%, and I'd say that is pretty accurate in the feel.
Rating and Final Thoughts
So, Lagunitas IPNA. In the end, it was a pretty interesting taste. I can't say it's something I would keep around full time, but it's definitely something I would buy again. For a non-alcoholic brew, it was incredibly flavorful. Drinking this, it actually feels like drinking a normal beer. That's something that I'm not finding too common in the non-alcoholic beer world. In the end, this one rated at 3.68 out of 5 for me. A highly drinkable beer, and one that really has a great, full bodied flavor profile.
